1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Streamline API (“API”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you are not authorized to use the API.
2. License Grant
Streamline grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the API solely to enhance the functionality of your application (“API Client”). This license is subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
3. Beta Access Terms
If you are using the API as part of a beta program, the following conditions apply:
• Free Access: Beta users are granted temporary, free access to the API.
• Service Interruptions & Bugs: Since the API is still being refined, occasional downtime, interruptions, or functionality issues may occur. We appreciate your patience as we improve the service.
• Fair Use Policy: We do not limit beta access unless we detect misuse, abuse, or actions that violate these Terms.
• Transition to Paid Plans: Once the beta phase is complete, users may need to transition to a paid subscription to continue using the API.
• Advance Notice: Beta users will be notified at least one month in advance before the beta ends to allow sufficient time for transitioning.
• Feedback Encouraged: Beta participants are encouraged (but not required) to share feedback to help improve the API.
4. Permitted Use
The API is provided to integrate Streamline’s icons and illustrations into your API Client. Acceptable use cases include:
• Embedding icons within a design tool, content management system (CMS), SaaS platform, dashboard, or document editor where the API Services support but do not define the primary functionality.
• Using icons within an e-learning platform, slide deck tool, or marketing automation software to enhance user experience but not as the core product offering.
• Integrating icons into workflow management apps, diagram tools, or prototyping platforms to support visual communication.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
• Use the API to create a standalone service or application that replicates or competes with Streamline or similar products.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense API content as standalone files.
• Use the API in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
6. API Usage Limits
Streamline may impose limits on the number of API requests you can make. Exceeding these limits may result in suspension or termination of your access to the API.
7. Attribution
Depending on your subscription plan, you may be required to provide appropriate attribution to Streamline when displaying icons or illustrations obtained through the API.
8. Modification and Termination
Streamline reserves the right to modify or discontinue the API, or any part thereof, at any time. However, beta users will receive at least one month’s notice before any major changes or the end of beta access.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The API is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Streamline disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Streamline be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the API.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wyoming/USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
